Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Office Administrator for its New England 586 operations based in Holliston, MA . This individual will provide the following administrative support duties for our office:

Process weekly union payroll

Assist with New Hire Orientation

Responsible for onboarding new union craft workers

Assist in contract management: contracts, insurance, billing, etc.

Tracking (e.g., certifications, pre-employment requirements)

Electronic document management (project and craft personnel files)

Maintain purchase order log, and catalog packing slips; assist with invoice processing (A/P)

Assist and provide support to Branch Manager, Project Managers and Estimators as needed

Respond to incoming callers and in-person visitors with excellent customer service skills

Responsible for ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory, scheduling equipment maintenance

Responsible for all branch catering and meeting/event needs

Attend after-hours branch-sponsored customer alignment events, as requested

Assist with asset tagging and maintaining equipment logs

Develop and maintain customer relationships

This is a full-time hourly position with a Monday - Friday schedule. The estimated start date for this position is January 1st, 2024.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

2-3 years of office administration, HR, payroll, accounts payable experience, or similar

Bachelor’s degree in administration or related discipline, or comparable work experience

Minimum Requirements :

Must have strong organization skills and high attention to detail

Must be a self-starter and able to multitask

Ability to work both individually and in a team environment

Strong oral and written communication capabilities

Excellent customer service skills

Display critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Possess willingness to seek out additional responsibilities and professional development opportunities

Available to work occasional evenings to support after-hours branch events, with advance notice

Ability to create professional working relationships with customers and PCI employees across all levels of the organization

Preferred Requirements:

Construction industry knowledge or experience

Experience with payroll and/or employee management, particularly union payroll

OSHA 10 certification in construction industry

Certified as a notary public

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Experience in business networking, customer alignment and/or event planning

Certified in First Aid/CPR

Local to Holliston, MA area
