**Job Description:**
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Audiologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Roebuck, SC. This position involves working within the school system to support students' auditory health, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to succeed academically and socially.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for students.
- Develop and implement individualized auditory treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and maintain supportive learning environments for students with hearing impairments.
- Provide training and resources to school staff on hearing health and management of hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology and incorporate new practices and technologies into the school setting.
**Qualifications:**
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- State licensure as an Audiologist in South Carolina.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
