Director, DEI&B

The Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEI&B) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading DEI&B initiatives across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can foster cultural change, encourage and enable collaboration, and champion diversity and inclusion as core organizational values.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI&B strategy aligned with the company's mission, values, and business objectives.

Partner with senior leadership to integrate DEI&B principles into all aspects of the organization, including hiring, talent development, employee engagement, and business practices.

Support the design and delivery of training programs and workshops to increase awareness and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.

Support Partner Resource Groups (ERGs) to foster year-round activation ad programming and support membership growth and engagement.

Establish metrics and tracking mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of DEI&B initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to ensure that policies and practices promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the employee lifecycle.

Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to leadership and employees on DEI&B matters, providing guidance and support as needed.

Cultivate relationships with external partners, organizations, and communities to advance diversity and inclusion efforts and enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.

Stay informed about best practices, trends, and developments in DEI&B and apply insights to continuously evolve and enhance the organization's approach.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or similar higher education in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

Approximately 10 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion roles, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing DEI&B strategies – perefeably in a retail environment.

Deep understanding of diversity and inclusion concepts, principles, and best practices.

Strong leadership and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Experience designing and delivering DEI&B training and workshops.

Proven track record of building and sustaining relationships with internal and external partners.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Certification in Diversity and Inclusion (e.g., CD&L, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
