New Product Introduction Engineering Technician

About the Role – You will:
Work with Manufacturing engineering to improve processes. Perform time studies as needed. PO management for all tooling and material outside of the scope of machine. Update Task and work orders in Visual Factory (MES). Validate build process for New Products. Work with Engineering during C sample to understand variation. Help manage process changes on the line. Implement and maintain tests that ensure quality and functionality of battery packs. Prepare and deliver build documentation to the production floor under strict deadlines. Troubleshoot battery production equipment when necessary. Focus on continuous improvement implementation in your area of responsibility. Drive and implement continuous improvement ideas. Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of controls, testing technology, and practices. Train production operators when needed. Other duties as assigned by management.About Our Group:

You will report to the NPI Lead Manager and collaborate with other Engineering team members located at our headquarters in Burlingame, CA and manufacturing facilities in Greer, SCAbout You:

Excellent communication skills.Your Experience Includes:
3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Ability to perform failure investigation independently. Good analytical skills and communicate effectively with all levels. Proficient with MS Office applications Experience with manufacturing and/or testing EVs is a plus. Knowledge of electrical schematic and prints with experience in AutoCAD. Ignition MES (experience is a plus) Physical Demands: May work various shifts if needed; may be requested to travel to different locations for training and acceptance testing. Able to lift 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds. Able to walk, stand, crouch, bench, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed in large and tight spaces. Good eye/hand coordination and ability to identify color variations, depth perceptions and close or distance visual items. Manual dexterity with occasional repetitive finger motion Environmental Demands: Ability to work in manufacturing environment with extreme heat and cold conditions. Wear protective clothing or respiratory protective equipment. Works with irritant chemicals, gases, etc.Location : Greer, SC
