Are you an experienced machine operator looking to take your career to the next level? Our client, a thriving company in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a Production Machine Operator/Set-Up Technician to join their team on the 1st shift. What Youll Be Doing:
- Operate and set up production machinery following specific work instructions and safety procedures.
- Inspect parts for defects, both visually and dimensionally, using calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
- Perform set-up verification, including adjusting press lines, stock straighteners, trays, and conveyors.
- Monitor production quality, stopping operations if necessary to ensure high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
What Were Looking For:
- Prior experience with punch presses, mold presses, or lathes in a metal stamping or molding environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Longevity in previous roles, specifically in a manufacturing setting.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and maintain punctual, regular attendance.
