At PosiGen, we are passionate about providing money saving solar and energy efficiency solutions for people of all income levels. We are seeking an equally passionate District Sales Manager who will manage a team of Residential Energy Specialists and Team Leads at PosiGen. The District Sales Manager is responsible for training, coaching, developing and mentoring the sales team who will deliver required targets, work cross-functionally with other departments and prioritize the sales team’s workload. The ideal candidate will have experience in the solar or renewable energy industry, possess stellar communication skills, and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for training, coaching, developing and mentoring the sales team who will deliver required targets, working cross functionally with other departments and prioritizing the sales team workload.Mentor and coach a team of Outside Sales Representatives to exceed sales goals Conduct weekly in-person sales meetings with RES and managersPromote and participate in ride alongs weekly with TSMs and RES to insure high performing sales techniques to drive conversionsWork across business units to help problem solve, implement process or drive solutions for growth. Remain up to date on product knowledge and best practices in selling; train team members and monitor team performance for adherence through ride-alongs and roleplayRun daily sales reports to track district sales trends and productivity and report results to managementAdhere to company communication schedule, planning and leading all required meetings, delivering creative, valuable and motivational content in addition to all company-required updatesPrepare and present weekly forecast Manage the administrative process of the sales team, to ensure documentation is obtained and submitted promptly to the appropriate customer and compliance departmentsWork with the talent acquisition team to recruit, screen and hire the best qualified sales candidatesRecognize outstanding performers and coach those who are in development on reaching required targetsLiaise with the Operations and Marketing team on lead volume, installations and quality controlEffective demonstration of sales process, able to identify buying criteria, eliminate objections, and develop solutions to close the sale.Represent PosiGen through local community events. Be prepared to participate and promote PosiGen mission and offerings through scheduled media, hosted community events and build municipal partnerships to improve PosiGen brand health. Create opportunities to schedule and manage PosiGen events attended by sales team members to generate leads and sign local partnershipsWork with Contact Center leaders weekly to provide feedback and direction on company purchased leads distributed to TSMs and RESsRemain up-to-date on new products and services that could be offered to customers and share those within organization to help drive growth and profitability for the businessOther duties as assignedCompetencies

BA/BS or combination of education, training, and experience A personal track-record of achievement and sales successMin 5 years Previous Sales Management experience overseeing an accomplished team of at least 5-10 peopleKnowledge of solar energy field preferredMust have previous employee development experienceSalesforce experience is a plusProficiency with Google Workspace preferredBilingual is a plusMust have a clean driving record (example, no DUI in the last five years)Must have a valid state driver’s licenseMust be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screenMust have reliable transportationMust be able to obtain HIS CertificationPhysical Demands
