Job Overview

The Clinical Practice/Nurse Specialist is a leader in advancing practice and excellence, within the nursing profession and within the context of collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, to improve patient outcomes and systems of care. The position improves practice and patient outcomes across the care continuum through implementation of evidence-based care, consultation, research, education and establishing organizational standards.

The Clinical Practice/Nurse Specialist is in support of Clinical Research and Precision Medicine Novel Therapeutics:

Assessment of incoming protocols and novel therapeutic intake and associated planned interventions:Review incoming and amended clinical trials at CHCO with planned intervention(s) (approx. 100 annually)Novel therapeutics High Risk Therapeutics (both under research studies and post-research FDA approval); Coordination of Care Delivery Advance the Culture of Excellent in Research and Precision Medicine at CHCO
