IMEG. is growing, and we’d love to have you join our team We are currently seeking a Senior Landscape Architect. As a The Senior Landscape Architect will be responsible for managing projects in the development of design, planning, and specifications as well as preparing and administering construction documents. This includes work on projects for residential, commercial, and urban settings, park and open space planning, mixed-use and environmental design. The Senior Landscape Architect will assure project completeness and accuracy in accordance with IMEG design standards. 

Some key duties and responsibilities include:

Effectively serve as Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects Identifies prospective clients, assists in marketing to develop new clients, and prepares proposals for services Consistently brings work into the firm with existing or new clients and participates in presentations to clients Prepares site and landscape plans, specifications, and cost estimates Compile and analyze data on conditions such as location, drainage, and location of structures for environmental reports and landscaping plans Commit to sustainable design and performance-based landscapes Demonstrate design competency and creativity to produce hand and computer-generated presentation graphics, plans, perspective, and selection illustrations Interpret technical documents and map specifications Other duties as assigned

Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:

Tree and plant knowledge and techniques in the state(s) the position will be performing the work Demonstrated ability to communicate design ideas verbally/orally/graphically Ability to work both collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently Manage and prioritize multiple tasks with multiple due dates Effective problem solving and decision-making ability Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives Strong documentation skills Reading, interpreting, understanding, and applying planning standards and procedures, applicable state rules and regulations, city/county policies and procedures Competency with relevant software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up Experience with Lumion a plus

Education and experience requirements are:

Bachelors or master’s degree in landscape architecture Minimum 8 years relevant experience

Professional registration (PLA) required
