Senior AWS Solution Architect -REMOTE

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust, scalable, and secure AWS-based cloud architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.
  • Design and document end-to-end architecture, considering factors such as performance, cost, security, and reliability.
  • Evaluate and recommend AWS services based on project requirements.
  • Implement best practices for provisioning, configuring, and managing AWS services.
  • Stay abreast of the latest AWS developments and incorporate new technologies as applicable.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices within AWS environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of AWS infrastructure.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in AWS environments.
  • Conduct regular assessments to optimize resources and costs.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of AWS resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure.
  • Work closely with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of AWS solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an AWS Architect or similar role.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and AWS services.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices and compliance in AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
