If you’re nodding yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing Corporate Marketing team as the Event Marketing Manager . This is a full-time, remote position with a preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones .

As the Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing both in-person and virtual pharma/biotech webinars, meetings, and conferences that Amplity Health attends or sponsors. You will also help plan and deliver internal all-company meetings. The role includes setting up and overseeing event logistics, managing budgets, coordinating with external vendors, managing speaking submissions, and analyzing sponsorship opportunities to enhance the company’s position in the market.

You will have strong project management skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven ability to lead events that maximize client engagement. You will also have a creative flair and understand the importance of digital marketing. This is a high-visibility position that will require someone who can confidently “run with it,” isn’t afraid to ask questions, and loves creating processes. You'll be the go-to person for everything conference-related. The potential for this position is enormous, and you will bring passion, experience, and a great attitude. This role reports to a Senior Director of Content Marketing but requires a self-starter who can take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Event Strategy, Planning, and Execution:

Develop up-front event strategies to ensure that Amplity’s webinars, events, and conferences that the company sponsors/attends align with company goals and branding objectives Analyze event and sponsorship potential to assess the benefits for company positioning and client engagement Lead the planning, budgeting, and logistical coordination for selected pharma/biotech conferences, including companywide meetings like ASCO, and business unit-specific meetings like LTEN Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution, including working with senior leaders to finalize employee attendees Oversee event/booth setup, on-site management, and post-event analysis Plan and execute conference related social events, including networking dinners, receptions, interactive experiences, to help drive leads and deepen customer relationships Manage multiple aspects of live and virtual educational and thought leadership centric events. If necessary, this may involve coordinating with continuing education providers and/or securing speakers Assure metrics are captured before, during, and after an event and are successfully integrated into our CRM system (SFDC) to maximize customer understanding and reduce unnecessary data entry Work with all speakers, event attendees, and conference organizers to assure conference expenses are tracked and paid in a timely manner Coordinate the creation of project codes and assure proper reconciliations and tracking of event-related expenses in with the finance team

Lead Generation and Conversion:

Develop and deliver event-related lead generation strategies and tactics for conferences, including the writing of social media posts, pre-event marketing campaigns, on-site lead capture, and post-event follow-up Create, track, and analyze event performance metrics to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement, ensuring all campaigns and member engagement is captured in real time using Amplity’s CRM infrastructure Implement lead nurturing programs to convert event attendees into loyal customers

Vendor Management:

Work closely with external vendors, including conference coordinators, booth managers, event services providers, and hotels Manage relationships with conference faculty, other co-presenters, and sponsors Assure delivery and pick-up of all event materials Stock, manage, and analyze the Amplity company store for the selection and delivery of branded items for general or specific recognition programs, client workshops and meetings, conference attendance, and employee relations, e.g. sending welcome kits to new employees. Work closely with our human resources team and the Office of the CEO to set up and maintain the store. Evaluate potential vendors and monitor their contracts and performance.

Additional Responsibilities:

Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all event materials, including booth build outs, back drops, emails, presentations, and other collateral Support the larger corporate marketing team, and particularly the content directors, in producing written give-away material, e.g. sell sheets, place mats Coordinate video production of in-booth assets

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, or a related field from an accredited university or college  A minimum of 3-5+ years of hands-on experience working in marketing, event management, or 3-5+ years of related detail-oriented program management experience Experience with working for a healthcare/pharmaceutical company preferred Strong project management skills with a track record of planning and delivering high-quality events on time and within budget Proficient with Microsoft Office suite a must – especially Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Salesforce.com campaign management structure is a huge plus Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with external partners and internal teams of all levels Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle several priorities at once Enjoys working both independently and collaborating with stakeholders both inside and outside the corporate marketing function Ability and willingness to take direction from several key stakeholders to achieve results Ability to perform duties while meeting the highest professional and ethical standards, especially when attending an event Ability to get it done, have a positive outlook, and think creatively Experience with writing compelling email campaigns, organic posts, and paid advertising around conferences Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on event success Confidence to bring fresh, creative ideas to the table to enhance our brand presence across all conferences and events Stay current with conference and event trends and industry best practices to ensure Amplity’s creative assets stay cutting-edge Eager to embrace new challenges, acquire new skills, and learn by doing, especially with Amplity introducing new processes and marketing technologies as the corporate marketing function evolves Experience with marketing and branding strategies, ensuring all conference and event materials align with and elevate Amplity’s brand  Ability to research/review, analyze, write and/or present Ability to maintain projects within budgetary specifications

Travel Requirements:

Must be available to travel 45% of the time, including weekends, for key meetings, events, and conferences
