Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

Observes students’ performance, and records relevant data to aid instructor in assessing progress Coordinates study groups outside of class to tutor students on class material May facilitate additional ad hoc lectures as a refresher to classroom formal lecture Assists with grading assignments Proctors occasional make up examinations/assignments Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Qualifications:

Completed Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution on date of application submission. Must have sufficient courses in Molecular and Cellular Biology as well as having received a grade of B or higher in these courses. Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
