If so, Emerson has a great opportunity for you As the ESH Manager at our Reno, NV Knife Gate Valve facility, you will lead all aspects of EHS, Medical/Workers Compensation, and Security Contractors. Your focus will be on regulatory compliance, safety initiatives, and training, collaborating with teams to improve our programs.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead EHS, Medical/Workers Compensation, and Security Contractors. Maintain compliance for all federal, state, local, and company regulations Review and implement revisions of ESH processes, guidelines, programs and policies, including training train plant personnel. Develop safety initiatives, compliance programs, and training programs for OSHA-required programs and general safety awareness. Conduct industrial hygiene exposure assessments, manage air, waste, water compliance, and lead root cause solution sessions for hazards and safety incidents. Actively participate in safety, environmental, and security teams, conducting monthly health and safety inspections and internal audits. Implement Emerson Operation Excellence Safety Audits and Environmental Compliance Audits, maintaining and improving current ratings. You are confident under pressure. You build partnerships allowing other across the organization to achieve shared objectives.For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Minimum 2 related experience in health & safety. Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. ASP or CSP certification is a plus.
