Duties:

  • The Finance Manager, Supply Chain Finance will provide support and operational business partnering with Supply Chain leadership.
  • Key responsibilities include providing analysis, insights and finance support during the long-term planning process, financial management of strategic initiatives, and presenting insights to senior Finance and Supply Chain leaders.
  • The ideal finance manager is proactive, a strategic problem solver, has excellent attention to detail, and is committed to continually simplifying and refining existing processes.
  • You love working with data and spreadsheets, but also love to work with people to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • This person will be focused on developing a process to document and track savings against a specific set of projects that are underway.
  • They will work with the project (workstream) owners as well as the Supply Chain Operations and Finance teams to understand and document the cost drivers and KPIs for each workstream as well as develop a methodology to measure and report the savings against an established set of goals in order to help the organization achieve our savings goals.


A day in the life…

  • Partner with senior management and other leaders to understand and conduct complex analyses in support of strategic initiatives and projects within Supply Chain
  • Manage multiple high-visibility projects, with responsibility for financial forecasting, tracking and reporting key outcomes
  • Lead financial analysis for determining net present value, return on investment, internal rate of return and profit loss
  • Provide insightful and creative analysis and recommendations through data-driven influence, communication, and storytelling
  • Review new business proposals, identify issues, risks and opportunities Work with cross-functional teams and leaders in finance and supply chain to establish targets, deadlines, measure outcomes and improve processes
  • Own and lead the long-term planning process and communicate inputs and outputs to senior finance and business leaders
  • Note: preferred candidates will be those who are able to work in a Hybrid setting - however manager is open to fully remote.


Skills:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and long-term business planning
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel experience
  • Strong SQL, Tableau and/or Power BI experience desired
  • Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Experience in partnering with business leaders to develop strategic initiatives for growth and cost efficiency
  • Strong analytical, modeling and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and simplify complex processes
  • Prior experience partnering with supply chain business space strongly desired
