Job Duties: The cook will be responsible for providing quality care by planning menus, ordering supplies, preparing and serving meals according to the registered dieticians approved guidelines and to maintain kitchen and storage areas according to state and local regulations and licensing organizations. This includes cooking for 15-25 clients per meal. A normal schedule for the cook will include working every other weekend. Scheduled shifts would normally be a combination of 5:00am to 10:00am and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Requirements:

H.S. Diploma/ GED

Previous cooking experience.

Caring and empathetic person as will be working with children who have experienced complex traumas and mental health issues.

The position requires candidates to pass Safe Crisis Management (SCM) Training.

Part time Benefits:

10 paid holidays a year

Premium pay when work is required on holidays.

Job Type: Part-time. Hours are combo of every Tuesday and Thursday 5:00 am to 9:30 am, every other weekend 11:00 to 7:30Pm and 1 other day during the week 10:30am to 7:30pm

Salary: $17.00 per hour
