Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Intern for our office in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position is expected to begin in Summer 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. 
  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
  • Candidates must have completed 2 years of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation
  • Ability to work in team setting
  • Effective communication skills


Additional Information

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  •  Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Philadelphia, PA.  The selected candidate must be available to work in Philadelphia, PA. on a scheduled basis.
