POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cleaning and Conversion Lead is responsible for the general cleaning and set up of the facility. This includes but is not limited to conversions of banquet area and other equipment from one event setup to another, coordinating with outside cleaning vendors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Provides team member support for the building during an event when assigned Attends meetings to keep up to date on building policies and procedures as required Ensures the part-time changeover and cleaning team members are performing their duties in a safe manner Plans, researches and implements special projects, such as floor refinishing, painting Evaluates operations' procedures to ensure safety and establish new safety guidelines Organizes prepares and supervises building cleaning and changeovers Ensures the cleanliness of the building for each event All other duties assigned by the Operations Manager/General Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule of different shifts revolving around event schedules including evenings, weekends and holiday hours Adequate time management, organization and prioritization skills Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction required Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment desired

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Working environment is fast paced Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds infrequently Work is normally performed in a typical Civic Center environment, inside and outside the facility
