We’re actively seeking to hire two talented Business Services Specialists to join our team in Omaha, NE or Lynchburg, VA. This role will be hybrid.

As a Business Services Specialist, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by providing problem resolution, operations, and administrative support to producers and current policyholders/contract owners using knowledge of company products.

How you'll make an impact:

Processes changes on existing insurance policies, including policy changes, conversions, reinstatements and exchanges and/or processes trades, withdrawals, loans, electronic fund transfers, and registration change on existing contracts.

Processes policy values (e.g., calculating amount of cash values, premium refund due, loan balance or loan interest refund), death benefit requests, and policy changes.

May investigate, compile, record and analyze data to make claim settlement determinations on death claims filed and support completion of internal and external death notifications, claimant statement distribution, claim requests, and modifications.

May review, approve, and process producer applications, renewals and cancellations.

Complexity of Assignments:

Entry-level position with limited prior training or relevant work experience.

Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks.

Develops skills to perform basic activities in own job.

Judgment & Supervision:

Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy.

Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures.

Typical Qualifications:

• 0-2 years general customer service or transactional experience preferred

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$18.50 - $22.61
