Description

GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Works alongside all program staff including program Director CRC’s and Nurses in order to coordinate clinical and facility services as they relate to the efficient provision of patient care.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Schedule patient appointments, consultations, update/revise patient daily schedule, relay changes to staff.

· Perform daily program facility check ensuring standards are maintained, report deficiencies to appropriate staff.

· Assist patients, families, etc. in obtaining information/events/activities to enhance their stay at Pavilion.

· Orient new staff to Pavilion Program ensuring that they are competent to manage assigned tasks of their shift.

· Communicate with transportation and food vendors who provide regular service to the Pavilion. Identify and correct problems, informing Director of same.

· Handle patient registration for those receiving outpatient care following discharge.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: BA or BS degree preferred, 1-2 years experience with Psychiatric patient population. 

SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Ability to manage busy office with varied tasks and interuptions. Experience with MS Office.
