Essential Functions:

The Clinical Intake & Referral Manager oversees the Intake & Referral Department and works collaboratively with other clinical departments within the agency to ensure client services are appropriate from initiation to ongoing treatment assignment. The Clinical Intake & Referral Manager is responsible for oversight of the Intake & Referral Department, which is responsible for all referral related tasks and inquiries, tracking, reporting, and management of therapists that are on the agency intake team. Additionally, the Clinical Intake & Referral Manager oversees is responsible for communicating with internal departments, external stakeholders, and providing insight into the larger scale picture of new clients and referrals that occur within BTST Services.

  • Recruits, hire, and train staff in the Intake & Referral Department
  • Oversee weekly intake team meetings and manage the workflow of intake and authorization assignment and completion.
  • Provide clinical consultation and diagnostic review as needed for intake team members
  • Track and manage the caseloads of intake therapist and ensure accountability of all intake team member responsibilities.
  • Manage incoming and completion of intakes assigned within the department
  • Initiate and maintain communication with clinical directors and supervisors as needed to ensure communication and accountability of intake team members
  • Maintain communication with internal an external stakeholders related to OMHC services and referral/client status and updates
  • Completion of monthly KPI and Data tracking
  • Oversight of departmental tasks, including but not limited to: accepting and processing new referrals, collaboration with community partners, coordination of care, authorizations,
  • Complete all staff performance evaluations as required, to include constructive and timely feedback during the evaluation process
  • Coverage for staff within the department, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active LCPC or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
  • Good organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate activities as appropriate.
