Per Diem Housekeeper

Massapequa Center Rehabilitation & Nursing is committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking a detail orientated per diem housekeeper to join our interdisciplinary team of health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Amityville

Responsibilities include:

• Follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained with the upmost standard of cleanliness.
• Clean resident rooms for incoming admissions.
• Perform the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards. Including:
• Clean furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating and AC units, restrooms, recreational areas, discard trash, etc.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
• Detail orientated.
• Familiarity with a long-term care setting preferred.
