City Experiences is seeking a Captain for our operation in San Francisco / Berkeley 

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

Successful candidates must have 1 year of recent experience as a Captain. Our employees have public contact, therefore we are looking for candidates who take pride in their appearance, have superb customer service, and communication skills. A flexible schedule is a must as it includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The candidate must submit to a comprehensive background check as well as pre-employment, and random drug testing as required by the United States Coast Guard.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Operates company vessels legally and safely

Supervisor onboard crew

Enforces crew and passenger safety

Administrative duties including, computer work, and some cash handling

Filling out shipboard logs, and reports

Conduct crew training, drills, and exercises

Participates in USCG inspections

Harbor Tour Narration / make announcements over PA system

Verifies the vessels have been properly secured after sailing

Additional job duties assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

3 years recent experience High School or equivalence Master 100 ton license FCC License TWIC First Aid / CPR Great customer service Desired endorsements: Lifeboatman, Firefighting, STCW, Able Bodied Seaman
