Systems Analyst III

The Epic Systems Analyst will be working with Revenue Cycle operations teams and end users within the organization and outside parties as necessary to troubleshoot build issues, operational issues, and technical issues. This person is responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying the Epic software according to decisions made by operational and technical SMEs. Participate in initiatives by gathering and analyzing information, preparing structured documentation, and presentations of findings and general troubleshooting, as necessary. Complete assigned team tasks as documented in the work plan. Report status of task completion to assigned Team Lead. Provide timely alerts about endangered milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications: 7+ years healthcare experience in a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst role. Certification in Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Epic Professional Billing Claims is a must. Additional certifications in Epic Benefits Engine Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Remittances or HB Reimbursement Contracts or Revenue Integrity are preferred. Previous experience in the design, planning and implementation of billing information systems preferred. Healthcare experience in other acute care settings preferred as well. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirement. Provide top-tier technical support to end users in a fast-paced, high-volume cancer hospital setting. Independently manage and resolve a wide variety of hardware, software, and system issues. Prioritize and complete problem tickets efficiently to minimize user downtime. Proactively engage with clinical and administrative end users to understand needs and deliver rapid solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional IT and operational teams to implement process improvements. Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and user interactions in ticketing system.
PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
The targeted hourly range is $75-80/hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
