Builds and modifies molds according to blueprints and interprets the design into a three-dimensional solid object. Tests, repairs, and delivers molds and tooling. Works closely with production and maintenance as necessary. Maintains a safe work area and may train apprentices in the trade.PROCESS TECHNICIAN – INJECTION MOLDING
Located in Colfax, NC, Tenn-Tex Plastics, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality injection-molded plastic parts. Focusing on product development and customer service, Tenn-Tex Plastics specializes in furniture, kitchen & bath cabinetry, and hardware distribution markets.
Qualifications:
High School Degree / GED 3 years + related experience in plastic injection molding Must be experienced in mold set-ups, trouble shooting, and maintenance problems Knowledge of robotics machinery (Wittman preferred) Good math and computer skills Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 55 lbs Time management skills Strong communication skills Punctuality and Reliability Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variationRoles and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure the best performance of the machines First response to all machine alarms Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other issues Analyzes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and operational problems in injection molding process Performs preventative maintenance duties on a regular basis Ability to effectively use a variety of hand tools and power tools Communicate with others in a courteous and professional manner Adhere to company policies, including safety, attendance, and punctuality Performs additional duties as assignedCompensation and Benefits:
