Exercise Specialist

Description
:Supervises and leads groups of patients in a clinical exercise setting. Develops individualized exercise plan for each patient taking into consideration medical problems and fitness level. Adjusts exercise based on response, symptoms, rating of perceived exertion and patient preference.Education:
Bachelor's Degree - Exercise Physiology relevant program of study
Master's Degree - Exercise Physiology relevant program of study - Required
Experience:
1 year Leading Individual and Group Exercise Training - Required
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
CCRP Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional - American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehab - Preferred
CEP Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist - American College of Sports Medicine - Preferred
RCEP Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist - American College of Sports Medicine - Preferred
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Work Shift:
08.0 - Per Diem Days No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:
$40.72 - $54.97HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
