Job Description:
Under the leadership of the HIT Applications Manager, the System Analyst II is responsible for supporting all aspects of build, maintenance, break/fix and optimization in their assigned applications. This position collaborates with other application analysts, Clinical Informatics, Instructional Designers and users to maintain and optimize Montage’s electronic health record.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Mastering of assigned application(s) and applied workflows including clinical, technical and operationalExpert in the development, testing, validation and maintenance of the Epic applicationUse Clinical background and subject matter expertise to build and support the applicationServe as a leader and resource in promoting the understanding, integration and application of information technology in healthcare settingsDeveloping and maintaining an in-depth understanding of complex clinical, technical and operational workflows to properly optimize the assigned application.Provide support to end users for software implementations, updates, and new version releases and document project issuesComplete testing and workflow validation of assigned applications and modifications before implementation into all environmentsGathering end user requirements and evaluating complicated workflows by working directly with end usersOversee implementation of upgrades and service updatesParticipate in on call coverage rotation as assignedFollow team standard operating procedures, polices, and use organization standard templatesPerform project lead role for complex projects associated with assigned applicationsHIT departmental responsibilities
Maintaining focus on customer service and responsivenessExcellent communication both written and verbal Troubleshoot technical problemsMaster HIT tools, applications, and processes Maintain fluency in HIT and industry best practices, tools, applications, certifications and processesFollow departmental and organizational policies and proceduresExperience:
Required Experience:
Excellent critical and analytical thinkingExcellent written and oral communication skillsExceptional customer service skillsBusiness acumen in multiple functional areasProject Management and organizational skillsMicrosoft Office productsPrevious work as a systems analystPreferred Experience:
Three years of related Healthy Planet or Ambulatory experienceEpic software knowledgeIT issue tracking software or "ticketing" systems (e.g. ServiceNow)Education:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, informatics, education, business, or information systems required. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
Licensure/Certification:
Required existing certifications…
Epic certification in Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose Analytics/Clinical BuildPreferred existing certifications…

Value-Based Analytics
Epic certification is required within 90 days of completion date of course and as required to support new versions
