About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will join our nationally ranked pediatric program with Primary Children's Network. This APP will have responsibility primarily for Outpatient Solid Tumor & Neuro-Oncology Clinicpatients.

We treat children, adolescents, and young adults—ranging in age from newborn through mid-20s—with pediatric cancer diagnoses. Outpatient clinical responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: the assessment and evaluation of patients, development of care plans, management of prescriptions, management of infusions, coordination of home care needs, patient and family education, communication with consulting services, coordination of patient follow-up, completion of procedures (to include lumbar punctures and bone marrow aspirates and biopsies), and integration with the multi-disciplinary team to meet patient care needs as appropriate. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and department research is also strongly encouraged.


The APP will typically be scheduled Monday - Friday during regular clinic hours with occasional after-hours infusion center responsibilities. This APP will have shared clinical time between our Salt Lake City and Lehi campuses.

What you’ll bring:

Utah license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA). Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Utah State Controlled Substance Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V. BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers. Preferred: prior clinical experience in pediatric hematology/oncology
