Hub International Northeast is seeking an Assistant Vice President for our Specialty Lines Claims Group. This position will perform a full range of claims support activities with new and existing clients including education and working on new opportunities with our sales team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Delivery of our claims value proposition to our customers and relationships; Interacting with clients in-person, virtually, writing, and via phone; First reporting, claim investigations/fact development, preparing and presentation of claim reviews, documenting claim files, completing claim file activities, retrieving and reviewing insurance contract language, and calculating/recommending loss settlements; Engaging in claims advocacy relating to coverage disputes on behalf of HUB clients; Consistent conveyance of an exceptional customer experience to clients, customers, and business partners; and Adhering to Claims Department Standards while maintaining an appropriate volume of work product.

A minimum of 5 years experience with handling Specialty Lines claims and/or coverage including E&O, D&O, Cyber, Crime/Fidelity, EPL and Fiduciary claims 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in deadline driven environment Fluency in and understanding of litigation terms and process is essential J.D. preferred and CPCU a plus
