As the Senior Vice President of Data and Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the data strategy and driving actionable insights through advanced analytics to support business decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a data-driven culture within the organization. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a critical role in shaping the data vision and executing initiatives to capitalize on the power of data in driving business growth and competitive advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy, Governance, and Analytics:

  • Develop and implement a data strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish standardized data governance frameworks and streamline data integration for unified analysis and reporting.
  • Drive advanced analytics initiatives, including predictive modeling and machine learning, to optimize business outcomes and uncover opportunities.

Technology, Infrastructure, and Leadership:

  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of data management platforms for scalability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Evaluate emerging data technologies to maintain competitiveness and drive innovation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and collaboration.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field required; advanced degree (e.g., Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, analytics, and business intelligence, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving business impact through data-driven insights and analytics in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in data governance, data architecture, and data integration techniques.
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools and techniques, such as Python, R, SQL, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
