The Digital Marketing Specialist, e-Commerce will play a crucial role in developing a robust content strategy for multiple rental websites and marketplaces across the rental organization. This role will have a strong focus on delivery of SEO optimized content, embracing UI/UX principles for design and strong QA standards.

This person will work with agencies and vendors to determine enhancements and optimizations to our collection of websites and build project plans that will help drive conversion and member growth within our programs.

How You'll Shine:

  • Brainstorming and developing creative ideas for website content and marketing campaigns.
  • Regularly implement website updates and content needs in content management system and booking engine platforms.
  • Optimize website content and performance (resort onboarding, site maintenance, rich content/video development input, content health assessment, SEO recommendations), merchandising opportunities on site, lead generation and audience capture strategies.
  • Develop, execute, and test web pages and content, maintaining high quality assurance principles on functionality and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and report on website issues and collaborate with developers for fixes as needed
  • Create/manage project requests and workflows in project management tools to meet partner needs, requirements, and timelines.
  • Align with cross-functional teams with ongoing communications and timeline updates.
  • Coordinate website requirements, deliverables, reporting, analytics, and reporting metrics; determine cadence and required changes to optimize ongoing projects and tasks.
  • Responsible for ensuring website requests and projects are executed on-time and error free through diligent quality assurance.
  • Assist with submission of materials through contact strategy review, legal review/approval, contract review, brand/creative production, social/web/mobile deployments, and IT development.
  • Must be able to undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.
  • Develop departmental presentations and corporate communications as needed.
  • Develop reporting with business analysts to monitor program performance, measure results and deliver tools for decision making.
  • Provide reports and feedback to partners/clients on site performance and optimizations; providing input, recommendations and effects to key drivers for each initiative.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to understand their processes/business, identify marketing opportunities, and become a critical support element to the success of their operations
  • Support manager and team by assisting with outsourced projects to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best-in-class website content.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Basic understanding of digital, e-commerce, UI/UX and web content landscape
  • Previous experience with a timeshare, hospitality or online travel agency a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use results to drive change
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Must be results driven, enjoy problem solving and passionate about being challenged
  • 3+ years of experience in content management and content development for web.
  • Basic knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and SEO
  • Experience with GA 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook)
  • 3+ years of marketing experience including e-commerce, digital marketing and/or web development
