POSITION SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, this position performs all daily functions associated with processing a consumer/residential loan application. Candidate should be able to perform any or all of the duties listed below.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures accuracy by reviewing and analyzing all aspects of the mortgage credit package including but not limited to: accuracy of file input, timely delivery of required application disclosures, asset documentation, income calculations and income documentation including personal and corporate tax returns, credit report/credit documentation and appraisal review. Solid knowledge of TRID, RESPA, FHLMC, and HMDA. Heavy interaction and a high-level of customer service and communication with vendors, internal customers, and external customers Contact borrower relating to document needs, status updates,, and escalation of issues to ensure the needs of our borrowers are met with a high degree of satisfaction Work as a team with sales, underwriting, closing, funding, and management to ensure assigned loans are being processed on time within compliance of corporate policies, agency, and all state and federal laws Perform various tasks as requested by management.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS AND TRAINING
Knowledge of automated residential/consumer loan process Motivated/Organized Able and comfortable speaking with customers courteously and efficiently; Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. General knowledge of regulatory requirements for residential/consumer loan originations Computer Literacy: Windows/Excel/Encompass (Loan Origination System) Understanding of Freddie Mac guidelines Capable of analyzing personal and business tax returns This position requires SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Provident Bank will assist with the registration process and completion. Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment. Knowledge of loan processing and closing processes and qualifications for credit worthiness.EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED
WORK EXPERIENCE
5 or more years’ experience in residential and consumer lending or equivalent experience in loan servicing.
