Overview:
Avenica is currently evaluating talent for a Bilingual Claims Agent to support members with health and other personal lines insurance. This person will be responsible for providing service to customers through phone and email regarding various claims and policy inquiries. Great opportunities for career growth
Responsibilities of the Claims Agent:
- Supporting policyholders with insurance product information and manage claim intakes
- Answering calls and responding to inquires with claims, service and intake related issues
- Provide detailed information about policy statuses
- Assist with basic technical troubleshooting for self-service related issues
Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required*
- 2+ years of customer service and related insurance experience required
- Service-oriented and strong verbal and written professional communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Previous experience in a high-volume call center a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US, Avenica is not able to provide sponsorship at this time
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with efficiency and accuracy
