Description:
This team manages the network connection between the contract manufacturing partners and our client. Critical point of contact for the success of the partnership.
Our client needs us to provide a Network/IT Engineer with responsibilities including remote setup of networks and server gears, providing on-site support for hardware installation (travel 1x/Qtr), and offering remote support for contract manufacturing factories.
The ideal candidate should have -
A strong understanding of network routers/switches, firewalls and IT server roles and components. A good knowledge around networking fundamentals and when it will be critical. They must have proficiency in English and Spanish as they will remotely support and engage with site(s) in Mexico and need to walk through troubleshooting with local Mexican team. They should have 3-5 years of general network and IT support experience in server support. Any previous experience within electronics or semiconductor industry is a huge plus. This role will include some physical rack/stack cabling as needed when there is travel. Most CMs have 2-3 racks at their site. They will work with local CM team for installation and maintenance. Network experience must be various vendors as there is no set standard of gear for the Contract Manufacturers (CMs). Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, Juniper, Dell, etc, may all be in the environments.Router/Switch Configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance. Must want to support multiple vendor environments.

Server troubleshooting
Understanding of storage gear
Rack/Stack and Cabling installation
