Nightwing is seeking to hire an enthusiastic entry level Test Engineer to work on a small team in a dynamic, mission focused environment.
The candidate for this entry-level job will be required to test, inspect, upgrade, and maintain various types of electronic equipment. The candidate will work with customers, vendors, and fellow team members to quickly resolve issues, and to devise creative solutions to problems. The candidate will develop test procedures and use available resources to track and report status to management.
Required Skills:
Basic experience with test equipment Fundamental understanding of RF electronics theory Competency with desktop computing and application programs (Microsoft Office, email, instant messaging, databases) Organized, innovative team player Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with PolygraphDesired Skills:
Solid understanding of RF, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and Cellular technologies Advanced experience with test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.) Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills Excellent problem-solving skills.Required Education / Experience:
An Associates degree with equivalent experience or a BS degree with no experience required.Additionally, candidates without a degree who have 8+ years of work experience will be considered.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 59,000 USD - 113,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
