Job Description Testing team develops functional and test automation solutions for ensuring that our Customer cyber products and services perform as required to protect domestic networks and services. The project will work with state-of-the-art products and services used by operational personnel now and in the future. The successful candidate will assist and provide direction in developing new automated tests for new projects and releases, and modify existing automation solutions. The candidate will develop test processes that brings best outcome for the team and projects. The candidate will also oversee the functional and automation test goals for the projects. The successful candidate will ensure quality product is delivered and report the accurate status to the management and leadership. The position requires a confident self-starter who needs minimal supervision, but who can deliver results on schedule.

The work does not involve mobile app development. It will involve testing applications in the cloud.

**This position is eligible for maximum telework (>50%) for applicants residing in the National Capital Region (DC, MD, VA).**

**This position’s office location can be either Sterling, VA, or Rockville, MD.**
Required Education, Experience, & Skills The following requirements for the Test Engineer role include, but not limited to:
  • Minimum Security Clearance level must be SECRET
  • Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role
  • Familiarity with various testing techniques
  • Hands-on experience with Quality/Test Management Systems
  • Great communication and writing skills with extensive experience in writing Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports and PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience in gathering and reporting quality metrics to management
  • Experience with implementing test processes, test strategies and test standards
  • Great troubleshooting skills
  • Experience leading teams
  • Experience in Linux and Windows required
  • Experience in automation with Selenium WebDriver (Java), Cucumber, Eclipse/IntelliJ, JUnit, TestNG/Serenity or other automation tools is required
  • Knowledge or experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, Source code repositories (GibLab/GitHub) and Jenkins
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information technology or equivalent.
Knowledge or experience with REST API is a plus.
Knowledge or experience with Linux, VMware is a plus.
Knowledge or experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge or Experience in Cybersecurity concepts is a plus.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
