Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Sales Representative job in Cartersville, GA. As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with new and existing Matting customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities for this Sales Representative job include:
  • Responsible for qualifying and prospecting for new business leads and restoring” inactive accounts (24+ months).
  • Consistently surpass monthly and annual quotas.
  • Submit virtual requests/ assist with product education for customers.
  • Establish lasting customer relationships through frequent contact and timely follow-up.
  • Data entry including updating customer notes in CRM system.
  • Scheduling consistent follow-up/ contact with accounts.
  • Handle/quotes and virtual requests.
  • Enter Sample orders as necessary.
  • Manage all distributed leads after tradeshows.
  • Handle freight quote requests.
  • Attend all monthly meetings.
  • Contribute to the R&D of new products.
  • Attend virtual trade shows.
  • Attend local/ out of state trade shows when needed/ requested.
  • Other duties as assigned including administrative/ back-up to other salespeople.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
