Lawelawe Management Group (LMG) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist experienced in government contract recruiting to manage all phases of the recruitment process.  To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company's current and future hiring needs.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day full lifecycle recruitment as determined by business needs, including traditional and creative sourcing techniques, resume review, candidate screening, and managing the interview process steps
  • Source potential candidates through various channels such as career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, and social media networks
  • Collaborate with managers to develop unique job descriptions to attract top talent, and set expectations
  • Act as a liaison with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process ensuring that they are kept up to date on the status of their requisitions, candidate pipeline, status, and expectations
  • Schedule interviews for hiring manager; assist with preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Identify and recommend most qualified candidates by applying knowledge of technical roles and market availability
  •  Implement effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Prepare offer letters, negotiate offers, and follow up with candidates.
  • Participate in proposal development, recruiting, and new contract transitions.
  • Utilize a multi-channel recruiting process to fill the pipeline with high-quality candidates including, but not limited to active applicants, passive candidate leads, internal recruiting, employee referrals, social networking, job fairs, etc.
  • Align with company policy, EEO, OFCCP, ADA, and Affirmative Action guidelines in the screening and hiring process
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively via telephone, email and in-person.
  • Must have the confidence to speak with potential candidates and will be comfortable generating candidate leads, cold calling, networking, and research to quickly qualify and assess their potential candidacy.
  • Proven success identifying and placing candidates
  • Knowledge of HR practices and Recruiting methodology sourcing cleared and non-cleared candidates across multiple labor categories preferred
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical position requirements with candidates
  •  Create and implement sourcing strategies 
  • Must function well in a fast-paced environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever-changing needs.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative while working in a remote environment.
  • Hands-on experience using an Applicant Tracking System or HR software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • At least four years experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Talent Sourcer and/or Recruiter.
  • Minimum of three years government contract recruiting experience, required.
  •  Knowledge of HR practices and Recruiting methodology sourcing cleared and non-cleared candidates across multiple labor categories preferred.
 Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
