Pulls records from suites for scanning into EMR System. Following established guidelines, scans documents with accuracy into the EMR system.|Participates in determining appropriate name convention of tabs associated with scanning. Sorts incoming chart/documents assuring that all are attached to the correct patient. Retrieves medical records on request, carefully identifying record and following release of information guidelines.|Performs duties in a professional manner while exhibiting a courteous and cooperative demeanor with patients, co-workers, management, and the public. Provides suggestions regarding process or quality improvement to department manager.|Answers phone calls, takes messages, duplicates documents, and assists with other clerical duties as requested.
