As a Sr. Account Executive for Key Accounts, you'll be responsible for selling new, fully insured, and self-insured business in the + employee segment.
If you are located within Central/Northern, VA markets, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Selects, manages, develops, mentors and supports staff in designated department or regionDevelops clear goals and objectives for performance management and effectively communicates expectations, and holds the team accountable for resultsTo meet the unique needs of our members, have an intimate understanding of the contractual requirementsIdentify, select, structure, and prioritize process improvement projects, ultimately implementing changes to meet program requirementsEnsures standardized execution of workflow processes, including conducting performance audits, quality reviews, and compliance adherenceActs as regional interface with other departments to coordinate workflow processes and implementation plansYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degreeRegistered Nurse or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or LPC with active and unrestricted license in the state of VA or qualifying reciprocal license5+ years of experience working within the community health setting in a health care roleExperience coaching or mentoring staffIntermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, with the ability to navigate a Windows environmentPreferred Qualifications:
Master’s degreeCertified Case Manager (CCM)3+ years of leadership experienceExperience/exposure with discharge planningExperience in utilization review, concurrent review and/or risk managementCase Management experienceA background in managed care*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy
