Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Boss Exteriors Inc. in Oregon. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, steel, and other materials. This is a full-time, individual contributor role within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee construction and remodeling projects from start to finish
  • Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, providing direction and guidance as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Ensure construction materials and equipment are utilized efficiently and effectively
  • Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to keep them informed of project progress
  • Address and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards
  • Train and mentor new carpenters as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
  • Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Represent Boss Exteriors' high standards in all work performed
