Duties:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Remind or administer medication as directed by RN

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Assist with mobility and transfers, if applicable

- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up

- Maintain accurate documentation and records on phone app

- Follow care plans and instructions provided by AMADA

- Provide assistance with behavioral health management

- Assist with catheter care, if required

- Support clients receiving hospice care, if applicable


Skills:

- Previous experience in homecare is preferred

- Knowledge of caregiver practices

- Familiarity with Dementia management techniques

- Proficient in providing catheter care, if necessary

- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach

- Understanding of hospice care principles and practices when taking on hospice client,if applicable

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to provide patient-centered care in various settings, including hospice care when applicable
