As a member of the Providence Health & Services team, the Data Engineer will ingest and transform strategically important data in our Oracle and/or Azure cloud environments. The Data Engineer will develop de-duplication, normalization and source/target mapping scripts to integrate data from enterprise systems such as ERP systems, workforce systems, IT environment management systems, and/or healthcare data systems.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field Or equivalent educ/experience 3 years of Advanced Object Oriented programming skills (Python) / Pyspark 2 years of Advance knowledge in SQL and Database Functions 6 months of Internship or job experience in any one of or all the data science fields includingSupervised learning, Unsupervised learning, recommendation systems, computer vision, NLP, neural networks, or other data science models or techniques/models

Preferred qualifications:

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field Or equivalent educ/experience 1 year of experience working in Azure Cloud Environment 1 year of Healthcare industry experience

This position is Full-time hybrid position – remote work will be considered. Possible required travel up to 10% of work schedule. The salary range listed for this position MIN:$43.48 to MAX:$68.83 per hour is based upon the primary work location Renton, WA posted. This position is remote. Salary range and offers are determined by internal pay equity and geographic cost of living differences. Salary range will vary from State and region. Salary max is limited to 75% range in order to continue to offer internal pay growth. We welcome open and transparent discussions on salary at Providence.
