Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve the yield and utilization rates of quality products.
- Enhance the First Time Yield (FTY) rate to ensure products meet quality standards on the first attempt.
- Develop and implement effective monitoring systems for mass production processes.
- Conduct thorough analyses to detect and address production anomalies promptly.
- Evaluate risks associated with new products, materials, processes, and equipment.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for smooth integration.
- Implement corrective measures to resolve batch quality issues.
- Analyze customer complaints to identify root causes and develop improvement plans to prevent recurrence.
- Provide on-site support for mass production customers.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and address any issues arising during audits.
- Maintain an organized file system for all relevant documentation, ensuring records are up-to-date and accessible for reference and audit purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrochemical engineering, engineering, materials science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering or a related field, with experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Proficient in various engineering techniques, including Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the 8D problem-solving process.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools like Minitab and JMP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and support.
- Proficient in documentation and maintaining organized records.
- Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance.
- Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill levels.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move around work sites, including walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.
- Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
- Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier items depending on the project.
- Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation.
