A local distribution warehouse is searching for an Office Assistant with a strong clerical background to join their growing team.

 Responsibilities:

Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.  Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, and other involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments Maintains a clean, neat area Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments Shipping and receiving order processing Maintaining filing systems Checking and entering data Updating and maintaining databases Coordinating work flow Checking and distributing documents Patience and endurance to sit/stand behind a desk all day

Requirements:

Organizational and planning Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Data management Attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving Adaptability Customer service orientation Team work Communication skills - verbal and written Confidentiality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience in SAP a plus but willing to train

Benefits and Pay:
