This position monitors and controls goods in and out of inventory for JBT Proseal. This person will be part of a team responsible for accurately receiving all goods in, processing all bill of materials for internal and external use, and maintaining an accurate physical inventory at JBT Proseal. The Opportunity ... Assist warehouse associates in pulling parts, unloading containers, stocking inventory, and ensuring accuracy of Inventory Training warehouse and inventory associates in all departmental procedures Responsible for accurate and timely fulfilment and dispatch of all BOMs, spares and internal orders across the business Resource for inventory management including stock levels, proper warehouse management/storage, and physical inventory counts Maintain proper goods-in and goods-out procedures, perform cycle counts, inspect all outgoing and incoming equipment for proper counts, codes, and specifications Ensure proper reporting and recording procedures to identify waste of resources, whether time, money or other, and work with management to develop effective system to action and resolve in timely manner Responsible to assist in the optimization of storage and warehouse space throughout the facility and ensure storage locations for all parts, raw material and equipment are always accurate Assist in excess and obsolete programs to keep all parts at levels consistent with proper financial management conditions Establish and maintain effective process for identifying, returning and tracking damaged and expired products Implement and utilize FIFO concepts Identify improvement opportunities to achieve operational and inventory control excellence Oversee parts and warehouse associates; create work schedules, plan and delegate work assignments and deadlines accordingly, train employees and provide continuous feedback to management and team members alike Ensure all employees adhere to all OSHA and the company’s safety and compliance standards; provide a safe and hazard-free environment; safely operate warehouse equipment such as a rolling ladder, stock pickers, and forklift Build an effective and efficient team culture across the department and in conjunction with other pertinent areas Why work at JBT ... Job Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least 4 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or parts environment At least 2 years of lead or specialist experience Experience working in a fast-paced and rapidly developing environment. Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), WTS (Warehouse Transportation Systems), or other inventory and parts management systems High level awareness and disciplined problem-solving skills for issues that affect the performance of the inventory control function Moderate technical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to clearly and concisely communicate effectively with others Strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to get things done; ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines Flexibility to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications Technology based Associates Degree/ Technical or Vocational training preferred Experience driving a Forklift is a plus Physical Requirements Work in a climate-controlled factory Stand continuously for long periods of time Wearing of safety clothing and equipment is required Able to kneel, bend, crouch and climb ladders to access various parts of a machine Able to lift-up to 50Ibs Work Environment Air-conditioned warehouse with concrete flooring.
