Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary: FT 37.50 hours, Days Mon-Thur 7-3:30, Fri 7-1230

Responsibilities:

Provides health care services, imaging modality to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs a wide variety of Radiographic procedures which require use of independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

Qualifications: 

Education: Satisfactory completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program. Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Certification/Licensure: Certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) in radiography. Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Radiography. *For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license. BLS required. Experience: One to three years’ experience preferred, but not required. Other Skills: Knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, equipment operation, radiation safety, positioning techniques, patient transfers, good communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks/projects, ethical and professional conduct, good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics. Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty, weekend rotations. Interest in participating in orientation/clinical education of student radiographers in accordance with clinical education center guidelines for radiologic technology program(s).
