Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and enhance product yield and utilization rates to drive operational efficiency.
  • Improve First Time Yield (FTY) rates, ensuring high-quality production from the outset.
  • Develop and maintain robust monitoring systems for mass production processes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Promptly detect and address anomalies through comprehensive analysis.
  • Evaluate risks associated with the introduction of new products, materials, or equipment, and implement effective strategies for mitigation.
  • Resolve batch quality issues by executing corrective measures in a timely manner.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of customer complaints to identify root causes and develop preventive action plans.
  • Provide on-site support to facilitate seamless mass production operations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards during internal and external audits.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for documentation, ensuring all records are current and accessible for review and audit purposes.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Electrochemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of process engineering experience, preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the 8D problem-solving process.
  • Skilled in data analysis tools, including Minitab, JMP, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support customer interactions.
  • Strong documentation and organizational abilities to manage technical information.
  • Capacity to work full-time in a hands-on, in-person environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate various work sites, including the capability to walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.
  • Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly during inspections and troubleshooting activities.
  • Capability to lift and carry moderate weights (typically between 25-50 pounds), with occasional requirements for heavier lifting.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to support operational needs.
