What You Will Do:

Technical Execution:

Perform a variety of technical tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions. Utilize microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers, to produce developmental level products with associated test equipment.

Fabrication and Repair:

Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to fabricate and/or repair hardware, equipment, or prototypes.

Collaborative Problem Solving:

Work closely with engineers to analyze and resolve manufacturing test problems, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Testing and Evaluation:

Follow established test procedures and processes to support sub-assembly and top-level testing. Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance, and use of products, devices, tests, and procedures. Perform moderate level troubleshooting, calibration, and/or modification of hardware and fixtures. Evaluate and troubleshoot non-conformances, ensuring optimal product performance.

Cross-Functional Interaction:

Interact with other functional groups (e.g., Manufacturing, Field Service) on routine technical matters, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Workflow Management:

Manage workflow throughout the area to achieve team goals, including task prioritization and efficient use of resources.

What Qualifications We Require:

Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics. Ability to trouble-shoot and repair electronic circuitry down to the component level to include soldering of SMT and thru hole components. Proficient use of various electronic testing equipment: DMM’s, Oscilloscope, Signal generator, Bench power supplies, etc.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
