We are looking for an Aeroderivative Superintendent to join our Turbo Services team in La Porte. The Superintendent oversees the daily operations of the Aero GT Division with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. They cultivate a positive work environment, drive technical advancement, and ensure effective collaboration with customers and stakeholders. This role also involves optimizing processes, managing budgets, and leading Health and Safety initiatives to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the Aero GT Division, prioritizing safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to quality standards. Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the division, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded by effectively managing costs, maximizing revenue streams, and implementing strategies to enhance profitability. Optimize work processes to enhance efficiency and profitability, ensuring alignment with monthly budgets. Collaborate with customers, Sales Department, and vendors to meet project requirements and maintain strong relationships. Coordinate scheduling and project timelines, regularly updating task status and completion dates for effective project management.To succeed in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. 5 – 10 years experience in a supervisory role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry. Experience in financial management, including responsibility for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of a division or department, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding budgetary targets and driving profitability. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees, customers, and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to drive technical advancement and innovation within a division or department.What we offer you:
