Job Description

An established and growing diesel shop is seeking an organized, effective Lead Hand for a Diesel Truck Mechanic job in Kansas City MO. The Lead hand Truck Technician position offers:

 

$32.00 – $45.00/hour to start. Benefits include:

Schedule

Afternoon Shift, Monday – Thursday; 3:30 pm – 1:30 am

 

Requirements

  • Provide excellent mentorship and adherence to tasks for those under supervision
  • Knowledgeable in Diesel Truck manufacturers from Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, Western Star, Mercedes Benz, Hino, Isuzu, etc.
  • Experience with Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, International, etc. engine is ideal
  • Scheduling, updating reports
  • Parts ordering and stock awareness
  • Lead by example with repairs
  • Fill in for senior staff when required
  • Valid CDL Class A or ability to secure within 90 days
