At Brandenburg Industrial SVC CO, we are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and required preventative maintenance of Class tractors. You will also perform safety inspections on tractors to ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, Federal, State, and local regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain Class tractors to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Perform safety inspections on tractors to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Ability to read and write descriptions of mechanical problems and repairs
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of mechanics
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematic diagrams
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Welding experience a plus
  • Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of diesel mechanic experience
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain
  • Ability to pass a DOT Physical
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. The ideal candidate will be able to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout the work shift in all weather conditions. System requires web browser Internet Explorer 10 or higher, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
