Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain Class tractors to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Perform safety inspections on tractors to ensure compliance with regulations
- Ability to read and write descriptions of mechanical problems and repairs
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of mechanics
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematic diagrams
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Welding experience a plus
- Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of diesel mechanic experience
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain
- Ability to pass a DOT Physical
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. The ideal candidate will be able to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout the work shift in all weather conditions.
